Today I relapsed after 2.5 weeks of no porn. I did MO though. What brought me to a decision to stop is I noticed I have difficulty performing with my girlfriend of 2.5 years. She would always have difficulty "satisfying" me. We always thought maybe I was too tired or too hot or some other factor that would distract me from being satisfied by her. How crazy is that!!!! constantly being sexually aroused by some girl on a computer screen and I have a girl actually doing some of that stuff to me and I'm having problems performing. I finally came to the realization it must be the porn. I searched on the web for a bit and came across porn induced ED. I'm pretty sure I have that to some degree. So I started off with no porn and no MO. The no MO lasted for 5 days. I thought if I did MO I could get more in touch with my body instead of depending on the visual stimulation of porn. It's hard to MO without porn but I've had success. Today though I failed with no porn. My girlfriend says she's okay with me watching porn but it's clear what the problem is. It was the MO that brought me back to porn so it's time to stop everything so I can have a normal sexual relationship with my girlfriend.
It may take time. Did you watch this guy's video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0dDLWGMhUo&feature=youtube_gdata_player Also, this is for your GF: http://yourbrainonporn.com/boyfriend-quitting-porn-5-tips
So just an update. So I'm still masturbating. That is the hardest for me to stop. The longest I went without was 5 days. Honestly no porn is tough some days but overall it's getting easier. A couple of days ago was the worst. I almost gave in. I was with my girlfriend last night and it was great. Definitely a huge improvement since I stopped porn. I will continue to focus on no porn and cut down on the fapping. One step at a time.
