    Cold turkey is typically the best way to quit an addiction (unless it has potentially deadly withdrawl symptoms like opiates, but that's beside the point) your style of resolve vastly increases your chances of success, but be careful that you don't lose all hope if you relapse once. Take up a hobby like reading to alleviate the emptiness inside that always begs to be filed with material desire.
