Hello friends! I'm 18 years old, I'm a male, and I want to change my life. This post might be a bit long, because I want to give you some information about myself too. I thank you in advance!
I can say that my "rational" life started at 14 years old, when I entered in high school. All my 3,5 years of high school I did nothing but playing games, smoking, drinking, spending time with the wrong people, and finally, watching porn and masturbating. Now 2 weeks, there was a night that I just couldn't sleep, because I was done of doing nothing. I want to go to college in a bigger town, and I want a happier life. So I started taking action. I quited smoking, drinking, useless social activities, I started waking up early, working out, meditating, reading, learning, but finally, I thought of quitting porn and masturbation, because I started doing that as early as 10 years old (maybe not 10, but around that age), and I PMO 5 times a week on average since then. I heard about the benefits of quitting, and I'm interested.
I have a couple of questions. I'll count them so it will be easier:
    1. Are there any health issues? Is it ok to hold semen for that long? Taking into account that I don't think that I'll have any sexual activities with a girl for at least one year, because I'll devote this year for my professional development.
    2. Is quitting PMO helping in Premature Ejaculation? Now like 6 months, I had my first sexual contact with my ex-girlfriend, and we had sex like 3 times. I did well then (maybe because i was a bit drunk all 3 times, at parties), but when we were sober and had things like dry sex, or handjobs, I ended really fast, like under 2 minutes, and sometimes, in a matter of seconds. And when I masturbated, 2 minutes is the average time when I felt like I need to ejaculate. And now I'm concerned about that, because the excess of masturbation I did maybe made me have PE.
    3. This is a weird question, but what if i get "blue balls"? I remember that it happened to me to not ejaculate like 6-7 days, because I just didn't have the time to PMO, and then to kiss a girl for like 30 minutes, and I got horny, but we didn't have sex or anything like that, and when I got home, my balls hurt and they got really big. It was because a lot of blood ( i think) got around my genitals because of the sexual arousal, and the only way to escape that pain was to ejaculate, so I opened up a porn site, and did it, and then the pain vanished. Is there any way to not get blue balls, so that I won't have to PMO?
    Thanks for your time!

    Welcome @undeadsasuke, I'm glad you're here.

First, realize I'm not any kind of expert on anything relevant here, so my answer is just my own opinion. But that said, here are my answers to your questions:

    .

You can -- and if you are really concerned, you should -- ask a doctor. But in my opinion, no, there's no health issue if you don't ejaculate. Your body will know what to do. That's why people have wet dreams, for example; or else the body absorbs it.

    I have no idea, sorry.

I think if you just leave your body alone and let it be, you will be fine. Some people get "blue balls." They use ice. It almost always goes away. You will be all right.

I hope this helps, and I hope you keep coming back!

  4. Hey @undeadsasuke ,

I'm just a normal ordinary member. No moderator super powers and no special insite. I share my ESH (Experience, Strength and Hope) of what works for me.

Just another warm welcome and a heart felt hello. This community has helped me so much.

What worked for me was "working" it. It took hard work for me to complete a hard reboot (No pmo) for 120 days, then move into a Sex Positive mode.

First, reading the literature published by NoFap itself along with reading journals.

Then, doing the work. Writing in my journal and replying to introductions and other's journals.

Finally, but not least, getting involved with the fellowship. I found it on the forums, but also in people's profiles. The forums tend to be longer posts, where the profiles tend to be more "conversational".

That is what has worked for me. I like to remind myself that this community was here waiting for me with the lights on when I arrived. Now, I have to do my best to be there when someone comes to the community.
