6 years is a long time. Especially when I'm only 17. Porn has been a significant factor in my life since I was 11. I discovered it early in my teens and it became an all-consuming time dump that I poured way too much time into.

I've been wanting to stop for 4 years. I keep telling myself that I'll have it all figured out in a few months' time, but then a few months later I'm still stuck in the same cycle. I'm really pushing for it this time. I know that there's a chance that it might not work the first try, but I'm not going to give up if I have to reset or even relapse.

I'm very glad that I found these forums. I'm hoping that I'll make some progress finally, and be proud of what I was able to do with some support.

I was 17 also when I realized I had a problem, and I kept saying someday I need to get this under control. I'm now 42. Don't be me, it destroyed my whole life.

You’ve got this bro. Get this beat early so when you find the right person you can be everything they need in a healthy partner, sexually and otherwise. Good luck
