In a world full of hentai is there room for anime?

    I don't know, but doesn't D-Gray Man have some like some yaoi-ish fanservice or something. I could be thinking about some other anime, though.

    Have you seen Moribito? The art style looks exactly like Gibli's Princess Mononoke. The main character is a girl but she is the cooliest unsexualized girl ever. Loved it. Intact I think I'm gana go watch it again!

    Well thank you all that I have a pretty good list of animes I can check out. For awhile I was almost thinking hope was gone for anime since some of Japan's pop culture can be littered with sexuality. It's my understanding that Japan is a dying nation due to it's excessive work ethic which can fuel dependency on pornography which aids in the destruction of the family. sad...

    I was gonna say watch Neon Genesis Evangelion but then I remembered a scene from End Of Evangelion and thought the cruel irony is too much. Anyone who has seen the movie will understand this reference.

    I've heard of an infamous "hospital scene" which is all the more reason I wish to never find out about said reference. I used to watch Silent Mobius for some time, but some nude clips in some scenes has pretty much crushed that for me all together as it was my favorite due to it's cyber-gothic themes.

    Neon Genesis Evangelion is still a personal recommendation.

    And about the hospital scene, it is a great way to express the situation in which the protagonist is in. He is broken, so he just follows his instincts.

    And yeah, the show has a little bit of fanservice in the start of the show, but it's not that bad. There is nudity in the end yes, but it's always for a reason and not for cheap T&A.

    I love death note also, but fan service (while not abundant) is very noticable. If anything it takes away from the great story.

    You should check out Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's a good anime, though there is some fanservice and a bit of nudity.

    I'd recommend you check out Welcome to the NHK. It's a pretty serious anime that deals with troubling issues and isn't light entertainment. But I'd suggest you check it out, the harsh light it shines upon people who deal with problems like depression, social anxiety, suicide, etc.

    I am the biggest fan of anime and manga which has a profound influnce in my life.I didnt know there were a lot of fapstrounts on Nofap who liked anime as much as I do.There are several genres of anime that include your typical popular ones which are shounen e.g Bleach,One Piece and Naruto.From more adult themed story e.g Gantz,Berserk,Banccano etc,those are known as Seinen.The anime that focuses more on panty shots and tons of fanservice are called ecchi anime.

    I totally agree. I used to be quite the Japanophile and crazy about certain types of anime. But my love for anime gradually lead me towards hentai (and you know they make hentai out of every popular anime) until the clutches of pornography deformed me. I have noticed that the Japanese pornography industry is extremely active in production rate, probably even more than that of its American counterpart. I have not known young Japanese adults except that I find them to be quite sexually and emotionally frustrated from studying to death (10 hours of studying per day in college), then working as capitalistic machines while laden with debts (Japanese youth are full of fantasies of living the high life); and for those of them who do not work in the porn industry, they are saturated by softcore porn (at least) everywhere in standard entertainment. They are also very suicidally prone, with love suicides (either mutual couple suicides or love-obsession suicides over celebrities who break their fans' heart) littering the daily news.

    Japan is a dying nation...

    because of their drive for world dominion through industry, commerce, and mass produced pop culture... they have caused their families and family values to crash down the tube on it's face. Porn dependence has caused them to lose interest in intimacy with a human being and thus they make "love" to their electronic lover or rape victim since they have no other outlet from their unhealthy work and school lives. As such, Japan is running out of children and without children their can be no Japan. What are they going to do? Issue a demand for mandatory rape to save their rotting society?

    I've come to find that Japan has the highest output of child porn, most of it probably being loli and such. I was shocked when I had first heard about loli and the fact that it's as available as it is in Japan. The sexualization of small girls barely over 3!?! HOW CAN THEY JUSTIFY THAT!?!?

    I watched anime back in my day, there are a lot of good ones

    -Yu Yu Hakusho
    -Naruto
    -Inuyasha
    -Death Note

    But in the last few years I've been watching only echhi and hentai.
    There are a lot of hentais that I love to death but they were doing me harm so this is why I am going on a 1 year reboot, if in the future I will regain all that I lost because of porn I will surely start watch hentai again but in moderation because I wouldn't want to get another PIED.

    If I won't be able to watch it without causing damage to myself I will give it up completely.

    Is regular porn just as bad as hentai? I have no problem with giving up regular porn for ever but hentai is a different thing...

    Hentai is even worse than normal porn in my opinion, for the reason that the sexual fantasy is in a different level in a hentai, that will fucked up your brain for good, because in real life you will never been able to recreate a fantasy like that...

    how did it destroy your life? I became a slave,depression, doing PMO all day watching it

    People who watch regular porn deal with the exact same issues, I don't see such a big of a difference.

    Hentai was the thing for me because I found it very easy to enter the protagonists head and feel like I was the one who was having sex with these girls, that is why I emotionally attached to them, they felt like they were my girlfriends.

    I am already 7 days clean and will make 1 year without a single relapse maybe 2 years HARD MODE but I don't see the reason too think too much in the future.

    Maybe if I don't find my happiness after anything I will try I will come back to hentai because it will be my only consolation.
