    hey,

i have been lurking around the forum and website for a while (years actually) and decided now is the time to write.

    where do i start.....

i first realised i had a problem in 2015, my relationship with my wife was deteriorating rapidly, for months maybe even years i feared having sex as i was afraid i would not be able to perform. I realised and had to admit what the problem was. it all came to a head and we barely spoke for 3 days, then i picked my wife up from work and burst out crying in the car and tole her what the problem was, we drove home, we argued, cried and finally talked for hours, and i finally told her what the problem was.

i vowed to sort the problem out and spent a lot of time online reading and watching videos about reboots, overtime i felt the urge i would watch a reboot video.

things went well, after a few months our sexual relationship improved greatly, and i managed to stay off porn sites for well over a year.

then she became pregnant, a great sign of my progress.

however during her pregnancy i found having sex difficult and slowly started watching porn again. This has slowly built back and got to a point where again it is becoming a problem. i have my own business and feel tired a lot, emotionally i feel like a zombie, i realise i need to reboot and make it a long term thing. I feel masturbating helps me deal with stress as its a quick release and makes you feel good for a short time. but i need to focus on the long term and my family.

we just went on vacation for a week which was a good start for my reboot, keeping busy and having no time alone.

So it has now been two weeks of my reboot, I am already starting to feel more talkative and less like a zombie around the house. I'm back to work tomorrow but i want to keep in this frame of mind.

    so here i am

Hi zombie.boy! Welcome to nofap and congrats on your baby.

Make sure you focus on recovery itself. Not just keeping busy. If you just try to do it by keeping busy, then you are more likely to slip when there is some sudden down time you didn't expect. But if you work a recovery program each day, you'll be ready for anything.

    thanks pmo addict,

last time i found the longer i went on the easier it got, the first little while was definitely the hardest, this time i aim to have more thought as to why, but a week away was good for my head and mental state of mind, out of my usual routine.

its when you get back into your daily routine thats it becomes challenging.
