This afternoon I went back to confession. This, after another relapse. Last Sunday I was unable to receive the Holy Communion. I felt so dark and physically heavy from the burden of sin. Through prayer to Holy Spirit and listening to Examination of Conscience on the Hallow App I was prepared to give a fully contrite confession. I have just come off of several weeks of roller coaster of repentance, confession, fall….. only to confession and fall again. This went on and on every week to two weeks for sometime. The Holy Spirit showed me today, I truly had not confessed with a contrite and humble heart, which left an opening for sin as soon as I left confession. Today I believe the Holy Spirit filled that hole and I can go on with God’s Grace. This morning is Pentecost Sunday. I’m so looking forward to hearing God’s words regarding the Holy Spirit and especially receiving Jesus through Communion. Praise be God!
