It's the escalation from the porn. Stay away from it long enough and it won't seem as appealing.

It sucks I know. I've been dealing with this shit the whole summer but it gets better.

It'll always be there but the longer you detox the less appealing it'll be and eventually you wont consider it.

Youd have to talk to a mental health professional. Im still dealing with it myself.

Something similar but distressing and uncomfortable all the same.

I've been diagnosed with OCD in the past and have dealt with themes of intrusive thoughts such as these, but porn is a triggering agent and can make them worse.

I can relate and I probably have succeeded on dealing with my obsession with my cock, which eventually lead to gay porn.

Anyway, rewiring our brain is really important, and nofap will greatly help. In my case, I also had semen retention.

I actually successfully rewired my brain to crave/desire for the female body again (of course, controlled). In fact, it feels so great to get horny/aroused without the need of porn. It's wonderful and I guess that's what we should rewire our brain into; we need our brain to go back into that state wherein sex with a real person is wonderful (Not thru videos/visually).

Although, I do agree that there are still times, I still go back, guess I'm still not completely healed but I am proud of the changes I have made on my mental state regarding my sexual life. Cheers.

I have been dealing with sexual related OCD and got really bad these last few days. The intrusive thoughts will do anything to undermind your sense of self. I tried to do too much, too quickly, to overcome it on my own and now I feel like trash. Self directed exposure treatment have give me more incite to my thoughts, but it made things worse in the short term. That is why I am stopping. It is important to let the thoughts go rather than judging them. This is what all of us with OCD struggle against.

It is a way of using a script to confront your obsessions and stop overthinking. I am using the approach given by Jonathan Grayson in Freedom From Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I misjudged my level of comfort and exposed myself to online material too early in the process. Results have been mixed.
