it's been 7 days since my last ejaculation

I'm a newbie. I heard about this and decided to try it

Porn hasn't been an addiction for me as much as craigslist casual encounters. The rush you get from someone replying to your add and wanting to have sex with you (accepting you) that was my addiction. Instead of going out and meeting people that traditional way I cowered behind my online identity.

I feel less of an impulse to do that now, to need their approval (it's still there, just dampened )

The reason why I didn't want to go down that path was because I was really after the dopamine hit i got from them accepting me. The meetup itself was terrifying and exhilarating, but the sex was meh, and I always felt cheap, and kind of hollow afterwards.

I can't believe I actually made it this far. 7 days!
I must say though, yesterday i did do a Taoist sex thing, where you essentially have sex, and build up energy and channel it all over your body without ejaculating.
I felt really alive!
It was a little too much energy to be honest, and I think I'm going to give it a rest till I understand more of the energy system.

I've already noticed some changes-, I called in to work and had a conversation I've been avoiding for a while, finally let go of an ex I've been trying to get over for 2 years, seriously, that is in my opinion that greatest accomplishment of my life so far.
She was in my class, and in my year, so spending time apart was difficult (I had to avoid everyone). It seemed to hurt me more than her, but perhaps it was because I kept trying to find ways to run away from pain.

She was the source of bitter agony, my kryptonite, but also one of my most influential teachers.

I want to thank her wherever she is, And wish her well, no hard feelings.

I digress, I feel more focused and motivated now that I've let her go to pursue my various interests, and to be a positive influence on the world, now that people's negativity doesn't affect me as much.

I'm going to do the impossible (or at-least something I haven't attempted before and in a ridiculous time frame no less).
