Hi all. Looking forward to becoming a part of this community! I'm a 22 year old male who has recently graduated from university. I can't even remember when I first started looking at porn, but it would be pretty young - something like 11. I've been lucky, in that using porn has never had any serious health impacts on me. However, my usage has gradually increased since I started, and now I look at some pretty extreme stuff, to the point that I feel my mental and physical health is at risk. I've had a few fairly half-hearted attempts to stop in the past, but now 2018 is going to be the time that I finally give it up! Yesterday was a bad day.....I'm moved to a new town, and was feeling a bit stressed by the experience, to which my response was hiding in my room and PMO-ing. This isn't a great behaviour, so has acted as the immediate trigger for deciding to quit porn. My reboot parameters are PM. I'm not in a relationship, and would like to be in one, hence not going for hard mode PMO. And I started today (in fact, midnight, so I have already achieved 11 hours 43 minutes haha!). Target is 90 days. Good to meet you all!
Hey panthera_uncia, Welcome to the NoFap community! I'm glad you're here and happy that you decided to go for the full reboot period. Something that I've found helpful is to start with a small challenge (such as the 7 day challenge) and work my way up to longer challenges. Congrats on taking the first step on this journey.
