Just Signed Up

    Hi. I've been trying to give up PMO off and on since May or June of 2017. I did well in October-November, getting up to almost 3 weeks, but then had a fallout with my best friend, and demoralized, gave in 2 days later. Though we made up in December, I didn't seriously try nofap again until now.

    I'm actually pretty good by day. I recently got weights and bought some books so that I can avoid the menace that is boredom. At night, however, things get bad. I never used to have sex dreams, but now I'm getting them every night and waking up on the verge of climax. It takes all my willpower to hold back. I'm afraid of busting in my sleep (I know that's considered better than giving in to porn, but it would make a mess). My balls hurt. My energy level has been terribly low. I'm starting to fantasize about a different friend who I used to have a crush on, even though I know she has a boyfriend. Are these things normal and is there anything I can do about them?

    You did well coming here, don't hesitate to ask advices or say hello to the menbers.
    About sex dreams: If you're surrounded by sex material all the day in the media (internet phone, movies etc...) or if you fantasize all day then you 're quite likely to have sex dreams!
    Rebooting is for the body and also the mind: don't fantasize (the thoughts will come but don't fuel them), read rebooting material daily to reprogram your mind an be aware of the bad side of PMO.
    A relapse isn't scary, not knowing why is so study the cause of your relapse.
