I just recently became aware of this site and decided to join in.

I study psychology at university, but only became aware of nofap and the effects of porn addiction last week during our motivation and emotion tutorial.

And realized that many of the problems I've had over the years (procrastination, low-attention span, low-energy levels and general disinterest in "normal" women) could be traced back to my addiction.

I consider myself a mild porn user but I have about 2gb of images, mp4s of SI photoshoots, etc. I jerked off about 3 times a day and could become easily aroused. The only contact I had with women was polite conversation or the occasional drunken "one-nighter" after a pub crawl.

I stopped watching porn 7 days ago and stopped masturbating last night which was hard (pun intended). I hope to keep this up until the end of the month and reassess from there.
