I'm not sure how to introduce myself so I'll tell my story the short version
Like probly everybody hear pmo has bin in my life since I was 12 there hasn't bin a day go by in my life that hasn't bin pmo in it at some point I've tried to stop by throwing the porno mags I stole from neighbors ( before computers ) but I'd always keep one never could part with it.
Tried purging hard drives but alway keep a few vids and pics at my lowest point I had 667900 pictures 1652 full movies and 130000 video clips. I've bin to a few phycologists. I'd tell them I purged my computor but would forget to tell them about the thumb drive in my pocket.
41 years of justifying porn and living a double life has left me with no self esteem, depression I just know it's got to stop I've got to lying to myself. I feel numb all I know is I want this to stop I'm hoping this community can give me some motivation to end this cycle after.
So for the first time that I can remember I have after hours of arguing with my self I've purged every hard drive thumb drive cloud drive of porn.
So this is day 1 of being porn free mike

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and not judge you.

What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

  4. You've taken an important first step: purging. You've gotten rid of the enemy within the walls. Now you need to build up the walls so the enemy can't get in again. Do you have a plan on how to erect an internet wall to block the enemy of porn? After you do that, you can start rebuilding day by day. You can do it.

We are all sojourners here on various places on this journey. I'm glad you reached out for help and shared your story.

  9. Mark Queppet is a professional coach specialized in porn addiction. He has created NoFap Academy with @alexander Rhodes, the creator of NoFap.
I would strongly recommend you to take the NoFap Academy course if you can afford it. The course is great but the best value are the weekly video calls with @alexander (the creator of NoFap and NoFap Academy) and Mark Queppet, where you can chat with them in real life and listen to other guys's stories and problems too.

I recommend you to create your own "Emergency Toolbox" with readings that can be handy to read when you start feeling urges to screw up.
I can share this post with you with my own Emergency Toolbox, it helped me a lot during the first few months, i had them in my cell and read them every time I started falling down:

I wrote some tips in this post that perhaps will help you too:

You can watch some interesting videos which are also very helpful in this post:

I also suggest you to read "Breaking the Cycle" by George Collins, it is a must-read if you are serious about getting rid of this addiction.
