learning something new

Today i learned that when you are trying to learn something new or trying to grow you have to give yourself chances and not try to over correct yourself and keep yourself in check.
There will be a certain time when you have to correct yourself and grow. But in the begining you have to start and just do the thing or keep learning until you grow.
I know it's a hard time to get through but if once you have committed then nothing can stop you.
