My 60 day NoFap Challenge(ex 30-day)

    Okay, I'm starting a 30 day challenge.
    My name is Anthony.
    My addiction story began at 14, now I'm 31. Since then I have masturbated almost every day. Despite this, I have a family, job and apartment. But I have a feeling that I am losing a lot of productivity in my life. I am wasting time because my act of masturbation can last for hours, energy for important things, as well as self-confidence.

    Now my addiction looks like this: everyone leaves home (I already anticipate diminishing satisfaction) and I start surfing websites. Now it is Сhaturbate and Pornhub mostly.
    I also formed a habit of touching my penis periodically (of course not in public). This happens unconsciously and often leads to masturbation, so I will try to control this behavior and be more attentive to myself and my feelings. And also study my problem every day. I would be grateful for your advice and support.

    You mentioned "unconsciously". It is very likely that your unconscious behavior is also manifesting in many forms, possibly with your relationship with your family, friends, and coworkers.

    I recommend focusing on living in the present, using mindfulness and meditation. Try out "Headspace" to calm your mind and focus on the body. You may notice a lot of pain stemming from your body. Try to be the observer. Take in everything. Mindfulness and browsing for information regarding self-care is slowly changing my life. Be very conscious of your partner and children, and provide that level of compassion for them that they deserve. It is very hard at first because you are so numbed, but you will eventually adjust and learn how to deal with the problems that come your way by focusing on your painbody and disidentifying with your mind rather than resorting to PMO.

    Thank you. I have tried headspace meditation earlier. The maximum streak is 30 days. I'm thinking of practicing again now.

    Try the rubber band method you put a rubber band on your wrist then flick when sexual urges or thoughts pop up

    Okay, I want to summarize the previous days of my challenge.
    At the moment, I am still following the path. And here's what helps me:
    1. There was a lot of work + I was a little sick, which also contributed to abstinence). Free time, especially at the computer, strongly provokes viewing of pornography and faping.
    2. Began to meditate again. Now it is 5 minutes for Headspace. Next, I'll take a course on pain in this app. When I meditated earlier, I felt pain and anxiety in the area of my heart. This pain seemed to make it difficult to focus on the right things all the time.
    3. I plan to start working with a psychotherapist in the fall. There are many things in oneself that need to be dealt with.
    4. I also use the rubber band method and it really helped me a few times.
    I continue my journey.

    It is going to a tough journey. But is all worth. Are some suggestions to accomplish your goals.
    1. Mediation
    2. Mental Reprogramming-Overcome those self defeating thoughts,
    3. Exercise- MMA, Gym or etc
    4. Cold shower,
    5. Leave the House
    6. Self Care- Focus on social activities things or places that make you happy
    7. Journal Writing
    8. Conversation-Support groups, therapist

    I completed my 30-day challenge, but I understand that now the risk of breaking is higher. Therefore, I will automatically renew it for another 30 days.
    I was close to breaking down because I was looking at pictures on Pinterest at work and there were pictures of half-naked girls.
    Meditation works great for me, now it's 15 minute sessions every day.
    I have ADHD symptoms, and I am trying to create a system for more stability.

    I was working on Pinterest again and fell into pictures of women in sexy lingerie. Then I went to Twitter with its variety of porn accounts. I didn't fap, but that mentally masturbated. I will reset the counter. By the way, I haven't worn my rubber band for a long time...
