    Hello all Fapstronauts worldwide!
I am new to this Forum but I would just like to give you my personal story as many of you can probably recognize yourself in it. I have been on NoFap for almost seven months at this points and things just keep improving so that's why I find it essential to share it.

Ever since the age of 13-14 (when I started watching pornography on a regular basis), I did have huge issues with many things, not only with lust, although it was one of the major culprits in my mind. I was from the beginning a quite shy kid and it didn't become better with time as I occasionally got bullied and simultaneously had parents who were separating as well.
I then resorted to the three things I liked the most at the time: Practicing my sport, reading and spending time at the computer. That's where I found Internet porn and although I wasn't an addict according to myself (spending maybe 2-4 hours weekly watching it) it gave me huge issues and just increased my issues further down the road. The main ones being:

    -Severe social anxiety
-Obsession with lust and sex (almost 24/7)
    -Poor view on women
-Depression, negative thoughts (sometimes almost suicidal ones)
-Trouble focusing on certain tasks (brain fog)
-Feeling fatigued, dull and unmotivated doing things
    Etc etc

As I was going through a minor (but prolonged) depression in the Fall of 2016, I decided at the following New Year's eve that I really need to change myself fot the better. If I continued on the same path, my life would be even worse further ahead. I got a bit on the way the following year by quit watching porn, starting socializing with more people and by improving my diet a lot but much of the social anxiety and nervousness around people (especially attractive women) still remained.
In late February of this year, I run into NoFap by a coincidence. I decided that I really needed to mentally challenge myself and also save some time simultaneously so what couldn't be better than not masturbating for an entire month??
(As a matter of fact, I tried two years prior to it but relapsed after 11 days out of fear as I noticed something was different in my body)

Said and done, I started out and noticed at day 10-11 a huge surge in energy, confidence and willpower which made me research the subject of NoFap a bit. I then decided to continue and saw plenty of things in my body (and life) improving greatly over the following months. A few of these were:

    -Increased confidence
    -Higher energy
    -Very little social anxiety
    -Reviewed spare-time interests
    -Better focus (especially at work)
    -Elimination of brain-fog
    -Increased vision
    -Less obsession with lust
    -Increased women attraction
-A more positive view of women
    -Increased penis-size
-Enjoyment of the little things in life
    -Feeling less needy

The list can be made very long but beginning the NoFap-journey has literally saved my life and things keep getting better by the day.

  2. Great to hear a little of your story and hopefully things just keep getting better!
