NEED QUICK LITTLE ADVICE

    I will be 17 in this month. I struggle to cross 6-7 days mark in every NoFap streak , even my longest streak is just 8 days which I got twice in last month , I need some guidance about it . On my 8th day My mind starts craving badly and the chronology is like this
    1:> Just search for that 18+ Web series on google , no problem nothing will happen
    2:> Okay just click on images tab only once and then return back.
    And you know when a porn addict sees the triggering images , its all over , then I rush straight to VPN and then google and then all those sites,

    IT HAPPENS TO ME ON 5-7 TH DAY IN EVERY STREAK AND I CRAVE BADLY FOR PORN....

    Just need a few tips, I am on day 8 in Porn streak and day 1 in masturbation streak........

    it's great that you recognised the pattern that causes your relapse. Just make sure it doesn't happen again, for example try blockers, personally, I don't use them I just prefer to not peek at all but just remember every relapse contains learning material. No streak is 'lost' until you start bingeing purposefully.

  3. This seems nostalgic to me as i joined this website when i was your age and was having the same problems ( i qm about fro turn 23)
    You are doing good
    You know watching porn and abstaining from it is a free choice which you have .
    What i would recommend to you is spend more time in developing a true relationship with an actual human being ( sexual is not necessary ) or just focus more on having interaction with people and enjoying them and improving yourself with the daily experiences
    Also have a person as your idol for motivation in life from whom you can learn different stuff someone who himself has struggled with various probmlem but still has achieved success
    Idk this was the answer you were looking for but the fact you are turning 17 took me back to my teen days and this would be my advice to my younger self
    (Right mlw I wish i could relieve my life back from age of 17 )

    That's absolutely true, you are watching porn because you allowed yourself to watch it, and if you want you can abstain from it too.
    This sounds intentional too me, why try searching for 18+ series in the first place?
    You peek, You relapse.
    No blocker of any kind will work unless you really want to quit it. You must remove it from the root.
    You know? I've been there where you are now.
    The solution is "just don't do it".
    If you really want to quit PMO then you must forgot about getting pleasure. Don't chase pleasure instead work-hard, suffer, feel pain and cry, If you do this then you are already above most people and there is no other way.

    Note: This phase won't last forever, once you are over it life would be much easier, no tiredness and no stress and fear of relapsing.

    Some important advises from me to everyone:
    1. Keep yourself engaged as much as possible, don't sit idle doing nothing.
    2. Don't surf the web without any purpose.
    3. Wake up everyday and make a list of things you are going to do that day.
    4. Exercise everyday, don't keep enough energy inside your body to fap.
    5. Stop using Youtube and Social media or limit it's usage. Once you quit social media then 70% of your problems are already solved and you will really find "inner peace", but for some reason you can't quit social media then unfollow all the celebs, models you've followed and just keep family and friends in it, If you use Instagram then don't ever try to open explore section just open the app check notification or Dm's then close.
    6. Meditate everyday, even for 1 minute.
    7. Make your will power strong and build self discipline in yourself.
    8. Find out your passion, aim/goal and work on it.
    9. Make your each day count and do something productive everyday.
    10. Engage in less interesting activities more like reading, studying, meditating etc. and reduce your engagement in dopamine triggering activities like playing games, listening songs, entertaining videos and obviously Porn and masturbation.
    Add few mores as per your lifestyle.

    Starve your desires and do the opposite what your mind wants, I know it sounds difficult but it's not impossible. Ask yourself til what level you can go in an order to beat your addiction. If you really want to quit it then you would, else keep updating counter.

    And one more thing, why did you asked this question in off-topic, this aint an off-topic discussion.
