New feature: delete your account.

  1. Instead of sending me 12 messages because I'm too busy to respond very quickly to your relatively low-priority account deletion request (no offense, I just am busy working on content and improving NoFap to help people quit porn and I get 100 emails or more every day), NoFap users now have the ability to delete their own accounts. The moderators have been pretty swamped with these requests so we're excited for this - and I heavily value users being in control of their data and having the ability to leave whenever they want.

Oddly enough, this feature is probably our most-requested feature.

    A few things to note:
    • You can delete your account on this page. This is permanent. The moderators cannot bring back your account after you complete the deletion process.
    • You can always change your username on this page.
    • Should you want to remove any posts for privacy reasons, you should do that before removing your account. With that being said, we (people recovering from PMO) need your experiences to be documented, so please considering keeping your journal and logs up if you can. If there is personal information contained within them, please edit out the information. Why? Because porn addiction is an under-researched issue and there isn't enough information out there about it. We need to document these anecdotal reports to show people that porn addiction is real and that it is possible to recover from it. Your journals and anecdotes not only help you, but help whoever reads them in the future as well. Just something to keep in mind.
    • Thank you to @Sun Bro, @Strugglesaurus, @YiboW, and our anonymous donor for paying for this feature. I really appreciate your donations and will be shouting you out in a video I film soon.
