Pain

Pain is part of life and if we don't deal with it, it can lead to problems. Firstly, God is often available to be very close to us when pain is overwhelming. In these situations, fully repent and start to pray.

Psalm 34:18 ESV The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”
Often people on a winning streak take a few minutes out of their life to pray. God seems very far away for them. When pain strikes we have plenty of time to pray. Often God seems very close just like the verse says.

1 Peter 5:10 ESV And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Pain sometimes helps us start to think right. I changed the course of my life for the better several times when pain overwhelmed.

Once we are determined to be on the right course, 1 Peter 5:10 becomes alive. When we are on the right course we can read this verse 100 times and cling to its truth.

Psalm 147:3 ESV He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Believe it.
