Hell yes you do that. You're teaching him that it's not healthy or wise to spend money on porn. I'd call that a good lesson.

 

That may only prevent him from purchasing porn directly from that card. There's still plenty of free stuff to watch.

First off, I haven't paid for porn. If I wanted to pay for it and my money was monitored by my parents then I would buy a prepaid card or pay with bitcoin or something.

Second to that. You cannot technologically outsmart younger generation, they are much more technically savvy than you.
Also putting the limit on his card shows you have lack of trust in him after you have that talk about the porn and that itself can be detrimental.

 

Definitely do that but for most people, we don't pay for porn. It's out there regardless. You need to pay very close attention to him. Educate him about it, only problem with this is it can be tempting to want to have a look at what all the fuss is about. I think in this age it's almost impossible not to come across it.
