It actually seems like the younger guys who grew up with hsi are taking longer to heal than the older men who have decades long addiction but grew up with magazines. My husband had pied from 45-50. 5 years. A 35+ year addiction. Between 4-6 months his pied disappeared completely. He’s been in recovery 21/2 years and the only time he starts to have a problem is if he slips. Otherwise, he is rock hard at age 52. The younger men had hsi while their brains were still forming/growing. This seems to make healing take longer.
