Please help a UK charity prevent harmful sexual behavior (including porn addiction)- VOTE NOW!

StopSO (Stop Sex Offending) is a specialist treatment organisation for the prevention of sexual offending. They are based in the UK and work with those at risk of turning thought into action.

In the UK there is practically no support from the National Health Service (NHS) for people who have, or might, commit sexual offences. Access to professional support and help is limited and most therapists don’t want to work with these clients.

StopSO are a charity who believe that prevention is better than cure, and provides specialist therapy across the UK to sex offenders and those who have yet to act on their 'troubling thoughts’. They also work with families of offenders, helping them come to terms with what the family member has done.

Simon Bailey who is the National Police Chiefs Lead on Child Abuse in the UK is a Patron of StopSO and has acknowledged the fact that porn addiction can and does lead to individuals putting themselves at risk by downloading indecent images of children.

StopSO aims to prevent harmful sexual behaviour through therapy helping individuals who have offended and those who are just struggling with intrusive thoughts. They also offer victim support for those who have suffered a sexual offence.

StopSO are attempting to raise £25,000 to apply for funding to subsidise one-to-one, face-to-face therapy with people who have been sexually abused and this is why we are asking for your help.

We would be extremely grateful if you could, before November 20th, VOTE for StopSO in the Aviva Community fund. The £25,000 is given to the charity that gets the most votes.

You will first need to register, and then you will be allocated 10 votes. You can choose to use them all for StopSO. If they get enough votes, they will be awarded the £25,000 to support victims of sexual abuse. Currently, they need another 1000 votes to put them in the lead. If each NoFap member awards them 10 votes they only need 100 people to vote.
