PMO as a motivator?

Won't work. Limited to personal determination and willpower, which is the one thing that PMO targets and eats away at. Moreover, PMO will continue to inflict wild collateral damage to you and your surroundings. It's a beast that continues to grow the more you feed it, and it has an insatiable, demanding hunger. It's patient, but it never gives up. It will continue to find new, convenient, clever methods of staying in your life - and once it has one foothold, it keeps digging in deeper. Happens every time, without fail.

There is no place for PMO. It can't be compromised with, or used as a bit of compromise. It's not a "reward" - it's robbing you of what you could have.

Today, actually, has shown me this more than ever before. I put the beast to death under no uncertain terms just over a week ago because I was preparing for marriage with a wonderful girl. In just a few days, I began to see her in a new light. We still have three weeks to go and I'm finding my passion and my adoration for her is continuing to build in ways I thought were dead and forgotten in my heart. And this is just the tip of the iceberg (though an important tip to me).

It's almost like saying, "if I finish my homework on time, I will reward myself my setting my house of fire". Not a good idea at all...Stay away from pmo.
