    Hi guys,

New to this and long to achieve a long-term reduction in my use of porn and dating apps. I wonder if anyone has any experience of putting an adult content filter on their phone to help with rebooting? Specifically, are there any tools that will prevent me from downloading dating apps (which have become a big porn substitute for me in the past).

    Thanks for your help guys.

    Hi Buddy,

I do not know how to give you a correct answer, but I'll give you my story. Previously, in my early days in Reboot, I needed a content filter. That ended when I tried to get more information about the Reboot, the effects of pornography and excessive masturbation. After that, I did not find it necessary to use a content filter because I knew exactly what would happen if I watched a pornographic video or masturbated; I would have seconds of pleasure, but soon after, I would feel embarrassed, down, etc.

I started to use some tools to not have a relapse, an app called Brainbuddy helps me a lot in that.
1 ° Meditate or simply distract myself when I'm having fantasies or wanting to masturbate or watch pornography.
2 ° If the first step does not work, I go to Brainbuddy and do the exercises proposed by the app.
3 ° If until step two does not work, I punch a wall hard. It sounds extreme and even stupid, but it works for me.

From the moment you have will power to pursue a purpose, you simply go, and nothing will hinder you. Even if you fall several times, you will continue.

  3. My SO uses a filter for adult sites (and has even added some PSub sites to the list) as well as a filter for the apps he can download (only 14 and below). If you have an iPhone, it’s in the screen time section of settings. Have another friend set a password for you.
