It's not fair that we who work at home with computers can just go CLICK and forget work, there is a woman without clothes, and out comes the banana, and suddenly 30 minutes have gone by - again. Oh, I didn't return that important email? Make that call? Shit. Tomorrow, then.

Imagine some other job where this is the case - a cop, a doctor, an airline pilot who do their jobs with an absolutely drop dead naked model standing next to them, shaking their boobs and cooing "Hi, handsome!"

    Nothing would get done.

Those porn blockers are great but it only takes 1.3 seconds to click "DISABLE."

We face some challenges, lads! I'm going to step away from the screen and see to my Monday night, whatever it may bring.

I know what you mean as I also work from home on my computer. The porn is always there, just one click away. Very challenging indeed.

  3. same! I have my home and work computer sharing the same desk space in my home office, and I could pop over to look at some P anytime I wanted to.

When I started nofap, I deleted my p stash from the home system, but I left everything else where it was figuring that if I can beat it (the addiction that is!) with the temptation in front of me all day long, then I will have conquered the worst case scenario. Naturally, if I fail, I will have to make some other changes, but I really want to do this. I call it my own version of "hard mode" (no P/M, but still sex with the wife). 73 days and counting so far...

I imagine it's much the same for other addictions, how easy would it be to have a beer or 5 while working at home now? It's a totally different world for sure.

It's a bit of a 'make or break' scenario though. I'm very aware that if I were to relapse too often, it could easily spiral out of control. After all, there's less accountability with less human contact. Personally I make up for that by getting my contact with people at shops, on walks, etc. Keeps me feeling like a member of the community...

Many are predicting we'll continue to have more people work from home, or at least have the option to, well into the future. However, with entertainment tech getting better, I'm concerned a lot of people will work at home but stay at home for their down time as well (I mean, more than we do already.)

You guys seen that movie with Bruce Willis, people plugged in, living their whole lives through simulation while they sit in an arm chair? Yeah, that's where I fear we're heading... At least it'll wake a lot of us up when we get there though?
