Sex Education on Netflix

Started watching this show yesterday. Seems like a great quality show, but has lots of explicit sex scenes, which are basically porn. I can rationalize it enough to not get any urges, but can imagine it triggering a lot of folks.

Anyone else watching, and if so how are you coping with the explicit scenes?

Yeah it's not real porn, but more of an oversexed show that has a lot of explicit sex scenes (at least p-sub). Not something you could easily masturbate to, but still may be a trigger for some. The first scene they're showing is one of those explicit sex scenes, so people who start watching it not knowing better must be aware of that before hitting play. So, y'all be warned.

 

I'm not the biggest fan either but Netflix has some great shows man. Stranger Things and The End of the Fucking World have been very high quality shows. This one's British as well I believe and not too far off from The End of the Fucking World in terms of visual quality and performances.

 

The show is great and funny, I really like it. There is no porn in this, and I for sure can tell the difference, it´s some nudity of course, what totally makes sense in a show about horny and coming to age teenagers. Gillian Anderson makes a marvellous self ironic "sex therapist Mom". Also the deep fear of the protagonistic boy to masturbate at all or have any orgasms, might have some interesting similarities to some peoples underunning problems here.

 

I was trying to avoid mentioning its name. I've seen the trailer for it and it doesn't seem worth watching. There are better shows out there.

 

It seems like just another generic, mediocre higschool show for teens. With a sexual gimmick. But other than that gimmick I don't think it has anything much going for it. Seems like a waste of time. If you wanna get your daily dose of psubs better get them from Westword, or Altered Carbon or something. At least those are really good shows.
