    Hi everyone ;)

What about sex scene in movies ? Do you feel excited ?

Let me just tell you what happened tonight ... I was watching a movie with a friend of mine eating and drinking , just having a good time . It was great and I didn't have any thinking about girls.

    BUT

During the movie that we were watching there was a very VERY hot sex scene with a
unfaithful naked women in the bathroom for at least 2/3 minutes ...

My god ... Even if it wasn't a porn movie ,this sex scene had everything of a porn movie ! (But It doesn't count right ? ;) )

I started getting very excited , I'm now 7 days without PMO and I just wanted to go back home to masturbate .

What would have happened If I was home , by my own ? Arf...

So , do you choose your movies ? Do you close you eyes ? Or do you abstain from watching movie during your NOFAP challenge ?

I'm home now and I'm still excited and really want to masturbate but well ... 7 Days , I'm not starting from 0 again. But wow , IT IS HARD!

    See you ;)

  2. Gotta close your eyes or look away. It is possible. Practicing willpower will make you stronger. It's not always possible to avoid such material but you can be more aware of what will be in certain movies.

My husband and i agreed that during sex scenes or scenes with underwear and lingerie he looks away and its worked for him. Even if the scene catches him off gaurd it doesnt trigger him. he is 1.5 yrs pmo free now btw

  4. It's hard to avoid that sometimes since sex scenes do appear randomly in a movie or t.v. show. I usually look away but I also remind myself how far I have gotten. The other week, I watched 3 seasons of hung and there were so many sex scenes but I stayed disciplined and didn't relapse.

We use Kidsinmind.com , imdb parents guide and common sense media to vet movies and shows so we are aware of potentially triggering scenes and can decide whether itd worth watching the movie or not.

This is one reason why I watch classic movies. If you watch anything that was made from 1933 to 1960 ish there is no chance random sex and very little chance of triggering. They had a production code back then. Sex was implied, not explicit. It helps that they are some of the best movies ever made too. Think Casablanca, The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, etc, etc, times a thousand. Personally, I like 1950's Hollywood westerns the best.

  7. What @LEPAGE is saying is that he doesn't watch anything that's not rated G

Basically yes; I don't watch anything that is harder than Canadian G, which is a little rougher than regular G, due to us being complete perverts. I like happy endings, without the 'happy endings'.

For example, I gather from watching the film that Crocodile Dundee has relations with Ms. Kozlowski after the end of the film, however we are spared the details, and get to watch him terrorize poachers in Australia and punch up pimps in NYC instead.

This is an 1980's film, so there is some more recent watchable reels, but the older fare is more bankable for no porn guarantee.

Look at my avatar. It's a lobby card for High Sierra, which was produced by Warner Bros. under the Hollywood code. No explicit sex scenes, no nudity, and Bogart, as a criminal, (spoiler!!) has to die at the end, as per the code. Ida Lupino looks as great as she always does, but we don't see her privates and there is no bathroom scene. There were thousands of great films produced under the code.

Thanks guys for your answers .

I actually rather then turning my eyes would like to be able to watch it and control myself . But it is maybe a bit too early so I think for now I will just try to don't watch if it is really exciting and of course avoid movies like you do which are too sexual .
But well ... With friends it is more difficult to do .
Maybe gonna start watching John wayne's movie from now . ;)

  14. Not really, because they never do things the way I would. I do get aroused by the scenes in James Bond movies though.

  15. There are lots of sites out there that can tell you if a movie is going to be too triggering to watch. I usually used to use pluggedin.com, but keep in mind they can be really strict. Sometimes they mention things that I never even would have noticed myself. Like they once said that in the movie Enchanted, there was a reference to female masturbation, because the woman said the shower was nice. but it's usually easy at least to see if there's gonna he graphic nudity or something in a film.

  16. For me I powered through hot scenes and didn't look away or skip, as I wanted to teach my brain that what I was watching wasn't porn and it doesn't excite me. And by doing so each time through the pain, I was slowly giving myself more willpower.

Thankfully where I am now I've gotten to a point, where when a sex scene comes on in a movie I don't feel excited or urges anymore. It's a good feeling finally being more in control.

  18. I don't know, probably not, but this is the wrong topic to post that in though.

  19. Maybe this means I’m weak but I won’t watch movies that have sex in them because it’s like playing like fire for me, because things like an attractive person giving me attention is potentially triggering. For example, yesterday I was out to dinner with my wife at a Lebanese and the majority of the time I cover my head and I made eye contact with a man that looked like a manager and in a Middle Eastern culture and especially as a hijabi making eye contact with a man is really forward. Sure enough he came over and checked on us within 30 seconds. The purpose of my digression is that while I can appreciate people who try to willpower their way through sex scenes, whatever you spend your time engaged in will affect your thought processes and then actions so I’d suggest as Roady implied to avoid anything that’s strongly triggering.

Well sex in movies is fake (nobody is actually getting penetrated), so it’s not really a turn on for me. Probably because I know it’s fake.
