    Hey guys,

So I've been wondering, I can see the benefits of withholding sexual activity (as hard as it may be at 21) but one question i've been dying to know:

How long does it take someone with PIED to recover and not have it anymore? The longer you abstain from any sexual activity the more ready you will be for sex when it comes to it right?

Im currently rebooting so no PMO, but this issue has been weighing on my mind for some time. In the past 2 years I'd have difficulty performing or even getting it up, yes most occasions I was drunk so that probably had an impact but its incredibly frustrating almost as if my senses were numbed to the amazing and treasurable experience sex is.

There is no set time, each person is slightly different. PMO has messed with our natural wiring and that path way will always be there, which is why when we fall it so easy to get back into the habit. The "standard" time here is 90 days. But if 90 days come and you still have PIED, then it may be longer for you. The thing we should all focus on is what ever time it takes for our individual body to recover and not you a "standard" time, because there not such thing.

It took me 30 days of no PMO of any type to cure my PIED.

Interestingly enough, my libido came roaring back much to the surprise and delight of my wife.

  5. We all are different. Some of us are younger, some older, some have used porn for longer, some not so long. Some are doing Hard Mode reboot, some are doing Monk Mode reboot, some are still masturbating just without porn, etc. And then there are other things like what foods you ate, do you exercise, do you meditate, do you drink and smoke - these things will have an impact on how fast your body is able to heal. And also of course different genetics. So because people are different it takes different time for everyone. It takes 90 days on average however, assuming you are doing Hard Mode.

As others have said it all depends on the person

hey man, there is a reason you have gone beyond 500 days, i have been on and off nofap for almost three years, never once crossed 15 days limit, it is too frustrating man, how did you overcome this, this time i am very determined to end this once and for all, i have also started yoga and one hour of meditation daily, although i do miss out a day or two in between, but my PIED is just destructive right now, i know for a fact i cant get it up without touching myself or watching some real hardcore porn, and have been watching porn for close to 6-7 years now and Masturbating daily once or twice on an average, combined with smoking and all that useless surfing of internet.
