i just came back from a trip to Florida and stayed at a cheap budget motel. At around 3 AM, I woke up to what appeared to sound like a gun fire noise. Also outside, some of the motel guests looked like crack or meth addicts with their faces deterioted. This isn't the first time I've experienced this. I remember vacationing in Massachusetts a few years ago, and staying at a budget motel, and seeing the same kinds of shady people. Sometimes, you see this in these budget motels.
Gah, this reminds me of a couple nights ago. I was sitting in my living room and I heard some woman screaming at the top of her lungs "oh my God!! Help me! Help me!" in the street. Scared the living crap out of me. I ran and told my husband real quick, in case he didn't hear it, and then I ran outside. I saw the girl sitting on the ground and some guy kinda trying to get her to stand up and saying she was being crazy. And then she said something about them both being drunk. Idk for sure what was happening, but it kind of looked like nothing was going on and she was just being dumb. Glad nobody was hurt, but geez, don't scream like you're being murdered if that's not the case. Anywhoozle, those people left, I called the cops as did another neighbor and they came by, talked to my neighbor, and left. Still don't really know what happened. The good news though was that by the time I got outside, and by the time I called the cops, which all happened pretty fast, at least one or more or my neighbors had already beat me to it. And the cops showed up in less than ten minutes. So I guess it's good to know that my neighbors would be on top of things if something bad was going on.
Yeah, that's what my friend said as well. Twas annoying. I seriously thought I was gonna run outside and see some woman getting raped or murdered or something.
Yeah it's one reason why people don't take anyone serious anymore. Like if someone ran to someone else saying please help (desperately) I guarantee you most people especially younger generation would chuckle first (embarrassed) then think "hold on a second maybe they are serious".
Your typical crackheads, junkies, and tweakers frequent motels Waldo. Your upper class junkies frequent hotels. Hotels and motels are both notorious for hosting drug users, criminals, prostitutes, and escorts. The 'classiness' of the suspects, guilty ones, and users vary in degree by the star rating of the establishment of course. Motels unfortunately have a class of people that aren't as considerate towards other residents with their affairs as the high class addicts are in hotels.
Classy hotels are expensive and u might get bored. i've stayed at budget hotels. one had a snail roaming around and dead cockroach in the room, there was also a spider web around the bulb with flies stuck in the web. i slept in the hotel with blanket covering me head to toe. i feared some insect might attack me.
