So I got a request to post in this section (shout out to @The Atman ). So here goes...

I started posting here on nofap back in March, and have been porn free ever since. I started out in hard mode, but that wasn't working for me and my wife so I did reset my counter. As of now I am on day 150 of no PM.

I'll try to be brief, more details can be found in my journal: diary of a wimpy noob.

What has worked for me is the journal. Far and away this has been the most helpful thing. I try to post everyday, but I do miss a day here and there. But keeping a journal keeps me in touch with reality and prevents the "addiction amnesia" which leads to relapse. Post often, and post honestly.

Get an accountability partner, and communicate regularly. Like the journal, this keeps you face to face with reality. It's also another opportunity to be honest with someone.

Lastly, and this is not as easy as it sounds, DO SOMETHING! Focus your energy into a job, a hobby, family, anything. Stay busy!

    Good luck my friends!

Thanks for the shout out noobotron. I'm nearly on Day 90, but unfortunately that's just an approximate figure since I ran out of internet credit before I stopped masturbating and was hence unable to reset my counter.

I've written a few Success Stories before; last year, under a different moniker. If you read my journal you'll see that I'm still struggling with things unrelated to PMO, so I'll just reaffirm what you have said. Keeping busy is the secret, and if you find something you really like, that's gold. Peace to my fellow Fapstronauts, good luck and happy travels in your NoFap journeys.
