Men of today are weaker as we all know.
And it all isn't just porns we should point the finger at. Sure, porn can actually really make things a lot worse and possibly the worst for you over time, but it's not your fault at all. The other immediate dopamine hits we crave come in other forms too that make us want to continually rise these levels too.
A mix of many things can be blamed for our dopamine hit obsessed minds. Technological advances like video games destroyed my brain as a young child before I was a teen. This created major dopamine issues to arise. Then throw in the horrible fast food my lazy stupid parents used to feed me on the regular as a young child and teen for many years, then I would get into porn, then get into marijuana use in high school, then start my major drinking binges, and using drugs, then going out all the time eating high caloric food, fatty, sugary foods at restaurants with friends when I had extra money in my early 20s..it's all been our downfall. This is why it is so hard to stay motivated and focused in this day and age.
So in summary...Not only me but many messed up their brains dopamine with..

Addictive horrible ingredient take out food
Weed and Dabs possibly too (I'm guilty)
Alcohol in major abundance.. I have over 2 decades now.
Sex and porn addiction.. yep. S clubs, Cam sites, .. damn
Video Games - my whole life.. I've never been able to stop. I always am playing a game to escape in spare time.
Social Media - The dopamine hits of seeing everyone, doing it all, in a flash on one screen.
The objective: If youre struggling with porn, you need also strip away all the major dopamine producers that also make you relapse to porn since they're also part of the porn trap. Basically the only way to stop relapsing 100% is just stop going on social media, stop video games, stop the rush of eating garbage food, stop drinking booze and smoking dope .. otherwise your reboot will come rebooted with repeated patterns. Now, we must replace all the bad stuff with good stuff. We must go workout, meet with people and talk more, prepare healthy food to eat, go bowling or golf or ski instead of playing video games, do meditation and read instead of booze and smoke. Get rid of the social media and the phone. Put it away in a drawer and stop treating it like it is your friend. Just get rid of the computer, or store it in your car if you absolutely need it for work, otherwise it is a burden! Don't go and look for sexual anything. Don't look for a relationship or attempt one - UNTIL 90 DAYS OF 100% SOBRIETY.
Who's in to try this out?
    Definitely warrior mode ..

I am with you, I am doing warrior mode.... Keto diet, meditation, Wim hoff technique, exercise everyday (without fail), No beer, Nofap, No Facebook, I've never played video games but I do have an addiction to my passion of making and listening to music, so I have also reduced the time spent "escaping" in my studio as well, without dampening my creative spirit by setting studio times that do not distract from important work tasks.

Its hardcore, but I am seeing immediate results. I feel alive and as if I have been running on 50% charge my whole life. I am now charged to max and ready to live a completely awakened life. I am at about the half way mark in this game we call life (44 years old) . Looking forward to the second half being a different place altogether.

My version of keto involves some good portions of diary and pork/beef steaks so I am not avoiding animal fats.... "Natural" sugars is a hotly debated topic, personally I believe in the concept of the glyceimic index and trying to keep insulin levels balanced to make insulin resistance as low as possible. So my fruit intake is limited to berries and avoiding oranges and apples etc.

I didnt know about the kidneys excreting electrolytes on long term keto, I will investigate. I have been taking electrolytes in my water as my understanding was that your liver has depleted minerals due to there being no glycogen stored in them anymore?

Nice replies guys and very much needed motivation. Also whenever I was strict I would do low carbs with keto. I still eat a piece of cut up fruit and greens, but definitely not full on no carbs. That made me feel sluggish. But stuff like bread, chips, candy and soda are best avoided

OK cool, thanks for the recomendations. I will check those guys out. Sorry to hear you are struggling with your reboot - I hope you find a way to start clocking up some days abstinence.

As an update for myself, I have just been on a holiday which marked the end of a 90 day period of doing keto and intermittent fasting. I had always planned to indulge in sugar and carbs on the holiday as a treat for reaching my 90 day goal. So i have spent the last few days eating cake, bread, drinking beer and eating whatever I wanted. Now, I am back home and I feel back to the old sluggish low energy man that I have always been. I couldnt get up for work at 6.00am, I am now sat in my office with no interest in working and have lost all ambition. And guess what, I have PMO relapsed as well - I just felt that I could because my new lifestyle was on hold for a few days so what does it matter?

So i am just about to reset my counter. I dont feel too disappointed about it, as the holiday was a conscious decision to indulge and I got to over 40 days on my first ever reboot streak which is a good achievement, and it has also shown me that I do not want to return back to my old ways.

    Keep going all.
