The "I hate porn" thread

It's horrible how porn takes those we love away by driving a wedge into us.

 

I agree with all that. Thumbs up

 

I hate it cause it has ruined me emotionally. Depression, Loneliness, Suicidal thoughts, all because of porn. I wish I was innocent still, I wish I never stumbled onto those websites at the age of 9.

 

• I hate porn because it brings out the worst in me and others, it degrades men and women, causes mental health problems and drives a wedge between relationships.
• I hate porn because it corrupts the minds of children
• I hate porn because it doesn't teach a man how to be a gentleman, how to respect and cherish women and neither does it show a man how to treat women properly.
• I hate porn because it leaves many victims in its production and it's linked to human trafficking
• I hate porn because I liked it too much
• I hate porn because it's addictive
• I hate porn because it takes pleasure and turns it into pain
• I hate porn because it needs hate, greed and lust to survive
• I hate porn because I lost myself to the mire of addiction

• I love my friends and my family
• I love the good things in this world
• I love it when I make a woman smile
• I love peoples capacity for compasion
• I love my hobbies
• I love learning and educating myself
• I love going to work and feeling needed
• I love my freedom
• I love making people laugh

Even when there is still so much room for hate, it's important to recognise the things you love.

 

Porn made me unholy. Porn made me do things I never imagined I'd do. Although not impacting my life too much, it still made me feel really bad and mislead me about sex. Porn gave me a horrible addiction that which I realized about only 2 years later. And now, I choose to fight back! No more PMO in my life. And never again.

 

Consider this similar to break up with an ex. Normally we focus on faults of the other person (porn) but a relationship is made of two people. Why become blind of our own faults? Because blaming someone else instead of looking at our faults is human nature.
