    Hey fapstronauts.

Just thought i'd quickly introduce myself. I'm a 22 year old guy who has wasted most of his life slappin' the ole' meat-wagon to a computer monitor almost daily for many years. Iv'e had no goals in life, no motivation, hardly any friends, can't keep a job, been about 4-5 years since iv'e had a girlfriend, all of which really has been a huge blow to my self-esteem and confidence, and all of which i contribute to porn and masturbation.

I first learned of nofap around a year or so ago and have tried on and off several times to quit. I got to 10 days and that was tough, but then i fell back into old habits. The guilt just ins't worth it. It honestly makes me sick to think how much of my life iv'e wasted, but i try not to focus on it.

I'm on day 5 now and feel pretty good. There's this technique iv'e been practicing for a few weeks now called the release technique and it works for me when urges strike and just other general negativity in my life, almost like a meditation, only you can do it anytime.

My goal is to reach 30 days and see how it goes, i want to make this a lifestyle and focus my energy into having relationships and a good career now, and i'd rather have a woman's help to reach climax rather than myself.

    Cheers.

Your introduction sounds like a familiar story dude. It sounds like you are hitting the ground running with a few days under your belt. I have never heard of that technique tho... how do you do it?

Yes indeed. Basically you just focus on what is bothering you, anything, (usually there will be a clutching feeling in your stomach or chest) and say "yes" to it, completely accept it for what it is, then imagine it releasing from your stomach or chest (or the feeling center as they say). It's not as complicated as it sounds.

Here's a few videos that will help you better understand it.
