    Hi, 25 yrs old male.

Been fapping to internet porn since I was young, ever since I discovered limewire/kazaa. Fapped close to every day for many years, could easily spend hours edging and finding scenes. Had a large collection at one point but deleted it all and stopped watching porn because of another relationship. After that relationship stuck to streaming porn online. I believe this has led to some PIED when I'm with the GF. I can happily fap to her pics and I'm definitely attracted to her so the issue is likely to be porn.

    Problems (possible triggers)-

    • Getting and maintaining erections with her is difficult, usually requires my own hand
    • Go limp whenever I need to put a condom on
    • I can cum, but requires me to use my hand or her to do extremely specific things with her hand/mouth
    • If I cum with her once won't be able to get hard for a long while, unlike porn which has a shorter recovery period

I'm not religious at all, and I actually still like porn although I can understand the problems people have with porn so I'm not judging anyone. If I'm ever single for a long period I'd probably go back to it and then restart if a girl came into the picture.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted- I have gone periods without fapping such as when I stay at other people's houses, in relationships or when I'm on holiday. Nor would I say are there deep-rooted psychological reasons for the frequent porn-use. In all honesty I'd say I'm just horny and enjoy fappin to porn. I can still get off on regular porn, never needed to go into anything extreme like scat, transgendered person etc.

I've gone about a week today with no PMO. It hasn't been too hard, I can spend lots of time at the computer, browse the same sites I usually do (not porn, but regular sites with triggers) and not relapse. I get horny but then I remember the rewards I will receive if I can fully recover and enjoy sex properly with my GF- who has been great and understanding btw.
I'm also good at thinking of disgusting things that put me off porn/sex whenever I get urges (if you want boner-killing thoughts let me know lol).

I think my will-power and motivation (GF) will make this easy, aiming for 90 days to start with. Although it will probably end up being for the duration of my relationship- which if it lasts then I guess I won't be going back to porn at all.

Keep in mind that your brain becomes less plastic as you age (the brain's adolescence ends about age 25), so going back to porn in between girlfriends is going to become increasingly risky given the problems you've already experienced. Today's porn is surprisingly powerful brain training. Watch this vid: http://yourbrainonporn.com/adolescent-brain-meets-highspeed-internet-porn
