Today I change

Hello everyone my name is John,

I am addicted to porn and masturbating and it has gotten to the point where it is taken over my life. I constantly think about it and waste hours a day watching and doing it. Sometimes it's the first thing I do when I wake up and the last thing before I go to sleep. The worst part about it and the part I feel most guilty about is I have a girlfriend and we have been dating for a few years and I have kept this filthy habit for most the relationship. I love her more than anything and we have a great sex life but I sill feel the need to do watch porn and masturbate.

It has become worse the past year and ever since the start of 2017 I have tried and tried to quit but no matter how far I get I always do it again. The past few months I've gotten to my lowest and can't go on this way anymore. My girlfriend would dump me in a heartbeat if she found out I've been doing this all these years and I can't lose her, I can't keep lying to her and hurting her behind her back so today I am making a change. I am going to quit porn and masturbating and make myself into the person I need to be.

I just discovered this forum and immediately joined it as I think this is what I've needed this whole time. I really believe this is going to help me finally kick the habit.

So far all good but still having urges to look at porn but been able to resist so far. I'll give an update once I get abit further.

 

Hoping to use this forum to help me stop. A few years ago I was able to stop watching porn for quite a while and I know once I get through those first few weeks it won't be in my head at all so Just hoping I can resist all my urges.
