Trying to Reboot While Waiting For First Date

    Hello Everyone

    Been a long time since I posted here, but here's my story.

    I found someone on a dating app recently, and asked her out. She said yes, and we planned to meet up in about two weeks. Unfortunately for me, I am still trying to recover from porn. I hope to abstain from this point forward, but the temptation to give in is getting stronger by the day. She is a devout Christian, as I am, so the last thing I want to do is fall back into this habit that could seriously impact our potential relationship.

    Wish me luck. Any words of encouragement or support would be much appreciated.

    That's the fuel you need, brother. You've got a goal, keep it in sight. I could go on all day with different permutations of 'stay the course, hold the line, stand your ground'. You've got people behind you ready to catch you if you fall and cheer when you succeed.
