Wanting Nofap benefits

    Hey guys,
    jsut wanted to pop in and say hi. :)
    I started No Porn + NoFap about month and half ago. While I successfully stayed out from porn, I allowed myself occasionally to fap to a memory/fantasy. I though it was harmless, that it was porn that was the evil. Tracking my progress, writing a diary and reading other people's diaries made me realize, that it was not just porn, but the fapping itself that was ruining my life. I had no energy, was depressed, socially isolated, the whole deal.

    A week ago when I fapped, I felt fine after and even the next day, but then day 3 and 4 I felt tired, exhausted, depressed. Then day 6 and 7 I feel awesome. I now how definite proof for myself, that fapping is a huge issue. I always suspected it, but it was hard to pinpoint the problem because the effects of fapping as well as NoFap are so delayed.

    Anyway, hoping to get better and looking forward to stay motivated by this great community.

    It's not so much the action as the mentality behind it. It's impossible to M with a blank mind. P is just one source of the carnality. We're like sponges, you and I - human sponges. Everything around us, we absorb. Everything we see, hear, do - it all becomes a part of us. This is why it's important to guard the heart. Purity is not just about avoiding P or avoiding M - those are just starting points, because P is one of the most destructive and hard-to-kill addictions men deal with in this age. After P has been eliminated, though, there's a lot of baggage to dump and a lot of clean-up to do.

    So, avoiding P and M is a major method of reestablishing purity and value. Just like a drop of oil can pollute an entire ship's water supply, letting any of it back in will just corrupt you all over again. Don't tap!
