This friday I finished my career of visiting the school for around 13 years. Finally, after so many delays. I have the final exams before me but my brain does not care. The only thing it wants is to PMO. Therefore, I decided to write the following thread, briefly explaining my current situation.

I relapsed around one hour ago. I was being plagued the whole day by urges and negative thoughts. Why? Because I did not believe in myself. I thought since I woke up that I am going to fail anyway, that I will peek anyways.

I need to take really hard measures. Hard times require hard measures. I did not relapse so badly day after day since I ever started doing NoFap. Just check out my PMO Spreadsheet.

I will limit my internet usage heavily. I am also going to implement the following points into my life (which I had in the past but got slowly rid of)

    1. No Phone in Bed or Toilet. No exceptions.
    2. Doing no other tasks unless my morning procedure is finished.
    3. Only taking ice-cold showers. No warm ones. Only exception: Illness.
    4. Having a clear goal of being productive and not relapsing.

Temporary points due to my state of emergency:
    1. Limiting internet usage heavily. Simply cut it off until the evening.
    2. Doing tasks which I really do not want to do first.
    3. Perhaps avoiding the internet at all. Exceptions: Training sessions and meetings in my community (me as a leader)

I feel that this is an utter necessity. I keep failing so bad like never before. I have to take hard measures and focus myself on the final exams. I did not believe in myself and I started to become sluggish. I started using my phone in bed and in the toilet, telling myself that I will be absolutely fine. That is the absolute outcome of my behavior. I cannot say that it is unexpected.

Success can be planned, failure as well. In my case I planned failure with my actions, that is certain.

“Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.” — Napoleon Hill

And, the good news is … there is no such thing as defeat until we accept it as such! As we go through life’s twists and turns, Napoleon Hill states that the best application is making sure we apply a Positive Mental Attitude to what we normally would view as “failure.” When we reframe it as only “temporary defeat,” our attitude toward everything in our life will change … for the better, of course.

I was personally amazed how failure or defeat provides a lesson that could be learned in no other way than through defeat and turning this lesson into an asset in our lives.

Remember, what does not get repaired, will be repeated. Defeat becomes a destructive force only when it is accepted as failure! So, when accepted as teaching some needed lesson, it is always a blessing.

What can you do today about something in your life that you may have felt defeated? Stop, right now, and take a few minutes to reframe it, you’ll be glad you did!

I got this poem which I stumbled upon when I read Napoleon Hill's "Law of Success".

“If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

    Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!”

It's a nice plan you have. I'd only suggest you allow yourself to use the Internet to come on this forum in case you have nobody IRL who you can talk to about your addiction. It's good to avoid the Internet to avoid triggers, but don't isolate yourself.
