I've decided to quit P & M more than a month ago. Right before the end of the month I M'ed and ever since I did it a few more times (imagination, not more than twice a day). I feel like when I wasn't M'ing I was happier and more energetic, so its not only the P that is holding me back but also the M so now I want to quit that again.
Your observation is right. Indulging in sexual thoughts (imagination) alone consumes energy. It's good that you want to quit M, not just P, plus they are both highly-addictive and quite impossible to be done in moderation. I wish you a successful journey.
P - 60 / M - 18 / O - 18 I agree that they are both highly addictive. I've been finding it much easier to give up P this time around, so I allowed myself to M once a week, but this just made me want to M more and more during other days of the week. And before you know it you're back on the P as you start needing more stimulation! So now I try my best to just leave it alone and battle through the urge. For a few minutes of pleasure, I'm going to feel like complete shit for a lot longer afterwards...is it really worth it? Yes, it's all easier said than done!
