I've watched YouTube interviews with porn star Nina Hartley. She talks quite factually and intellectually about why some women get into porn. While some do it for the money, drugs, and coming out of damaged homes, there are also others who make a deliberate and financial choice. If you do it right and managed your money, you can earn enough in five years to retire for life.

  2. I get your point. I am at a point where this isn’t triggering for me. Not sure most people in the community will be able to see past the stigma though. Nina has lots of “how to “ type vids.

For me these kind of vids are 50 /50.

Hit or miss. I recall being mesmerized by some videos that a pstar turned Christian did and her stuff was interviewing old adult actors and actresses and getting the emotions and dirt on why the industry is evil.

It’s sick, but it is also a Turn on. Not the producer’s fault. She was trying to turn people off and away from porn. But when I’d watch a former actress show regret later in life, I won’t mention names but my natural instinct was to look up her work and of course the cycle would restart with my newly acquired knowledge of the actresses’ personal circumstances and own pain. It sounds a bit sadistic but it’s an emotional connection to pain. Which all humans are supposed to have... unless they are sociopaths or true narcissists.

I remember a well know adult actress would go on talk shows and the same cycle would happen for me. On one ocasión an actress tried to teach at a middle school and her past came out and people went all Old Testament on her.

I felt badly for her aas people just lose their shit trying to have a normal conversation when there is so much emotion, taboo, stigma in the way.

So I get ur point. Just think it won’t be understood very well for many.

  3. I've always wondered about this myself on how they do all of this. I think that the people who become pornstars which are women who make up most of the industry realized one day that they didn't have any talents and when they probably went to go have sex with their boyfriends they found something that they are good at. This does turn into a job and more of a self-employed one that someone like us here wanting to quit fapping and find a real job that gives us health benefits. You also have people who become pornstars that only do niche porn. They do that as a living and make money that way. If they are married then they are dependent on their spouse for a big thing like a house and medical benefits. Also I've learned from a few different people that they just do this for a short period of time then get a regular job. Personality wise it depends on the person both on and off screen.
