...for the northern hemisphere. That helps temptation a bit because everyone will be wearing more clothes. The drawback is it'll be harder to see everyone's hands because people like to warm them in their pockets.
I wouldn't know if someone is carrying a weapon or not. That's why we like to ask people to take their hands out of their pockets and have them visible at all times. Thick clothing also makes it easier to conceal weapons and contraband.
I love colder weather. I prefer 50s and 60s, but 40s are fine too. Heck even 30s and I will still ho stand outside for a bit. I am not a smoker, by the way. I just love to breathe in the cold air. Actually, I use that as a way to break my urges for porn. I go outside at least for a few minutes. Great stuff.
Thank you for reminding me. I forgot to take a cold shower this evening. I did remember to turn it colder later on but that doesn't count. I'll try to remember for tomorrow.
What exactly is the point behind the cold shower idea? I mean, I am understanding of pain before pleasure. But a cold shower just seems like pain for the sake of pain, in my view point at least.
It can be. I'm a spoiled first-worlder. I want to be able to at least tolerate a cold shower/bath. What if the power goes out? Or if I'm in a place where there is no running hot water? It also saves a little on the bills.
It's my job to make sure me and my family are safe! Situational awareness is number one in self defense. Avoid bad situations like the plague. "Never relax"
I'm law enforcement. It's part of my job. Although the world would be a much safer place if everyone had the same skills.
It's the natural state of man. Civilization has provided us with many benefits, longevity, and good health. It also has domesticated us. When something goes wrong, then people wonder why or they realize they were not prepared because they're used to stores being open or emergency services being available instantly. Even in a controlled environment, it still takes a few minutes for help to arrive. Watch videos of tigers drinking from a stream. We need to be like that. Have a relaxed demeanor, do whatever you need to do, but when the time comes to act, don't hesitate. That's why I'm all about cultivating confidence and a commanding presence. It actually keeps everyone, including myself, safer. Let me ask you this, when does situational awareness become "paranoid territory?" Because when something goes wrong, it's the guys in "paranoid territory" that everyone comes crying to for help. Remember that movie Trolls? The gray troll (named Branch) was the one who had all the food and supplies that he built up for himself. Then what happened when their community was attacked? The princess troll told everyone it's okay to mooch off his supplies. By her decree, Branch's property was taken from him to help the very people that thought he was crazy. That movie sent a bad message to kids.
