I mainly go to RSD, for information on improving oneself. I know about tedTalks as well, and tai lopez. Do you have a go to site you see for knowledge
Reading book will help in general, you'll learn the topic how to update your language. It helps with so much reading of any sort, well besides erotica
What is RSD? BTW I am a huge fan of https://brenebrown.com/ I have one of her books on audible right now.
You really shouldn't rely on RSD for any improvement apart from the area of pickup. They are specialists at that. In any other area they are not. It's like going to neurologist and asking advice to improve eye sight. Sure, they will know more than average person, cos they are trained doctors after all, but you better off going to ophthalmologist. Find out in what areas you want to improve and then seek out experts in that particular area. Once you know who those experts are Youtube is a great place to find interviews and lectures by these people. What I do is search for books on topic that I am interested in. Then I do little research on authors and maybe get their books.
Their advice go beyond pickup, it's about improving in all areas of life. Especially Owen touches deep topics including positivity, how to be succesful in life, and getting girls. In order to get good with women you need to improve yourself. So i strongly disagree with you
I personally would avoid Tai Lopez like the plague. His intentions seem to be based solely on monetary gain. Philosophy has played a huge role in some of the most intelligent and beautiful minds to ever grace this Earth. The very word "philosophy" means the love of wisdom. Why not find a school of thought you agree with and spiral out from there?
Here's three podcasts that might be some help: The Art of Manliness The School of Greatness The Art of Charm (they're wanting to change their name) Tim Ferriss blog might be useful. Mark Manson's website has some good stuff on it. I've also recently come across Marie Forleo. She seems to have some good stuff. Her interview with Tim Ferriss is worth listening to/watching.
I am about 1/2 way through Rising Strong, listened to Daring Greatly on audio. I think DG is great, just wish she had narrated this version. Be well, J
RSD is OK if you need to learn a skill, but sadly many get caught up in it as a worldview or 'lifestyle'. Learn what you need to, move on and integrate it into a healthier view of the world. As for the self-development side of it, go to philosophy proper for this...
