So I just relapsed after ten days and I’m looking for ways to control myself more or have longer streaks. After about nine or ten days I really start to get the urges and I have no idea how to stop them it’s like everything turns me on after 9 days. I just can’t help myself and its getting worse. I spent a good portion of the day horny, and I think one of the main reasons was that I had a lot of idle time today, and spent a lot of time thinking about ‘not masturbating’. Though I’ve not given into it, it would have been better for me to spend time focusing on other healthy stuff, and not dwelling on my ‘suffering’. So I think that is the gist of what everyone is recommending here - occupy your time with sports, hobbies, and other positive stuff. The less you focus on these things instead of sexual thoughts, the easier it will be to keep yourself from getting so horny. Hopefully that makes sense dude!
I started my journey in 2016, I have relapsed many times, all I gather from my experience is that I was focusing on completing my 90 days of nofap and not growing out of my habit. So thats it bro, set your goals but not to count each day just get on with it. Next time you get the urges, play a song and start dancing to it lol... Do not fear relapses in future.
