General strength calisthenics: Push ups Chin ups Crunches Deep Squats Lunges Maybe I should have Superman in there too. General strength is a broad category.
Did another great full body session. First I did some Squats, than superseted OHD and Lateral raises, next superset was Incline Bench Press with elevated push ups, after that did Pull ups-Standing calf raises and for last superset I decided to add some isolation for my arms(haven't done this in a while), I did Biceps curls and Elbow dips. It was amazing, I've relapsed an hour before workout so I didn't felt so well, but it was still amazing.
Did you participated in Belgrade Marathon? I ask because it was held the same day you ran your 10 miles.
Day 1 Chinups 1 Pushups 8 Crucnches 8 Deep Squats 8 Supermans 8 Lunges 0 (right big toe hurts too much)
I might have found access to a gym with plates. I hope to find out my deadlift to be higher than it was before kettlebell training. Haha. Cheers my fellow warriors! /Baldur
Power yoga yesterday and I worked out in the morning mostly ab exercise, still better than nothing. Feeling good thus far.
Yesterday no training Today: 37 clean pull-ups (22 with handpalms inwards and 15 with handpalms outwards) *NEW RECORD*
@Baldur Thanks! Sets of only 3 pull-ups. This worked fine. And after I failed I did some pull-ups backwards - with support (how do you call it?)
I see. What do you mean by backwards? Is your body somewhat directed into another direction? I'm thinking of buying a 32 kg kettlebell for my journey of strength, endurance and just brute force development and conditioning. /Baldur
Yess! I did 15 pull-ups and 22 chin-ups (didn't know THAT were chin-ups) When I can't do the full pull-up/chin-up anymore I use my legs to climb the top of the bar then I just do the upward-movement of the pull-up/chin-up, to strain the muscles a little bit more - that's what I meant.
But pull-up also means the general movement regardless of how your grip is, right? That sounds great! What sizes /weights of kettlebell do you use now?
I don't understand that. It motivates me anyway. I'll stop beeing moody and hanging around and exercise after I log out.
