Today I did my first one-hand pull-up ever! This is a lifetime moment Besides that: a bunch of exercises for doing one hand pull-ups 16 pull-up jumps 10 pull-ups 7:05 mins plank 7:10 mins plank Yesterday: 22 km cycling 600 push-ups over seven times with a new highest of 105
I salute to you! Congratulations!!! It is also one of my goals. Great job! Update: Kettlebell snatches with my 24kg, 32kg and some push presses with 32kg. I LOVE my kettlebells. Really. They heal my body. They make my body and mind stronger. <3 Cheers! /Baldur
Thank you so much! It’s a great feeling I finally did one. Nice to hear it’s one of your goals as well Good luck with your kettlebells!
I have been working with kettlebells exclusively, but I think I will need to work on calisthenics too. My shoulder is still weak because I tried to press 30# kettlebell yesterday, and I could barely do a 10# today. Getting the bell up wasn't too hard, but getting it down with only one hand was difficult. AND i forgot my pedometer again today, so I cant even count my steps.
Yesterday: Mostly exercises for doing one-hand pull-ups Today: 2.5 km running, 2.5 km walking, 5 km cycling Two planks: 7:15 mins & 7:20 mins Lots of pull-ups, push-ups and chins 2 x (1 one-hand pull-up) 512 reps on the hand gripper a few mins on the powerball Now I am going to take the whole evening off and watch a movie about Mount Everest instead
Hi Exercise Friends, unfortunately I had some time in the past few days for sports and for cycling, the weather was too rainy. But today it was time again. The road bike was taken out of the cellar and cycling 25 kilometers. It was great and it helps me to suppress my thoughts on PMO. I'm looking forward to my race bike tour tomorrow
Hello Friends, It's a wonderful thing to start the day with some running followed by a cold shower, I highly recommend it. You wake up, take on your clothes and go out and run directly. When you get home you take that bloody cold shower and then you enjoy a good cup of coffee. I've been doing this a few times now and my plan is to do it even more often. Today: 2.5 km running 5 km cycling 7:30 mins plank 16 pull-ups 52 push-ups 100 squats 20 min back workout 2.5 km running (again, in thunderstorm) Good luck all!
Hi Friends, Today it was a very good day with a lot of sport. First, I paddled 18 kilometers in a kayak. Later I cycled 52 km with my racing bike. 52 km with 470 vertical meters. After that I was pretty exhausted, took a cold shower and had to sleep a few hours. Now I enjoy the reward: A cold beer
Today I walked about 6,012 steps (2.84 miles) Kettlebells: My shoulder is still so weak that I couldn't even press 10# overhead. I may need to see a sports physician for this nagging, sagging, shoulder weakness. But here is what I did to work with it: Rows 10# 1x6 ea Press 10# 0 left, 1x6 right. Still need to strengthen that shoulder without a kettlebell.
That sound like a wonderful day! Today: 22 km cycling 75+30 push-ups 1 one hand pull-up (on one side, still working on the other) more exercises for doing one hand pull-ups 5 one-hand push-ups on each side 16 chins 16 pull-up-like jumps between two bars 40 cm across some back workout under and with the kitchen table
Hi Force Majeure, yes, that was a wonderful day You are also very active in sports. Congratulations to your program.
I feel like it has been days since I last checked in. My shoulder remains stubbornly weak, and I felt a stabbing in my right big toe when I tried to do pass-under-lunges. I am only 36 and already suffering the pains of old age; this is the price of being sedentary. Walked 9,549 steps, 4.52 miles. Pass-under lunges 20# 1x2 (before my toe hurt) Pass-under Sumo Squats 20# 1x1 Upright Row 20# 1x6 I really need some more variety in my kettlebell workouts.
Get back into shape. Considering variety: Go to youtube and watch the enter the kettlebell video. Keep on going, it'll get better! Update: Did some tough workout yesterday. I can still feel it. Cheers! /Baldur
Today was a break for me and my road bike. After 110 kilometers cycling in the past two days, I spared my legs. Today there was a sixpack workout. Situps over 45 minutes. Now I feel a pleasant pull in my abs.
