Hey nofappers, just giving you my short update. It's a few days over 6 months and I'm more confused than ever. See I still have these withdrawal symptoms everyday and it fluctuates through out my day. My eyes get really exhausted and stress circles form when anxiety is at it's highest peak. Really hope i see the difference that others see.
Withdrawal symptoms can last up to two years after you started. But everyday if you're 6 months in, that is though! Be strong and keep going!
Right, it can last up to two years just like any addiction. It takes a lot of time to be totally clean and out of this addiction. Stay strong!!!
13 months without relapse here and still experiencing heavy withdrawal symptoms. It takes longer for some of us. But even though it takes a different amount of time for everyone, the one common factor in everyone is is that withdrawals are TEMPORARY. You are healing. Embrace the pain, allow it to make you stronger...and you will be stronger on the other side of this (whenever that may be) I can guarantee you that. Hang in there, bro. Keep fighting.
It might not be withdrawl from PMO. It could be not finding substitute coping mechanisms. What coping mechanisms replaced PMO?
Make sure that you are eating healthy and that you are exercising. Stay strong, you can do this mate!
hello , Im on day 184 of NoFAP , i used to be a heavy Pmoer for 10 years , 5 or 6 times PMO per day for some days , i still have withrawals like hell , depression anxeity , OCD , overthinking ,..... i cant take that anymore , this 6 months werehell for me and waiting for light , is it normal to experience all this symptoms even after 180 days ??
Yes, it's normal. Your dopamine receptors will have to be resensitized back to normal dopamine rushes. Dawzt hadchi li katdowez nta, dazt 3lia 2 mois b7al jahanam, o fach bda dakchi kay5faf chwiii relapsiiit -_- So I'd advise you to stay on track and never relapse.
hello bro , merci khouya 3la ton retour walakin raah 3amarha dazt 3lya b7al haka !! mab9iitch 9ader nsbar , ana 6 mois ou ana f jahanam , za3ma PMO a ce point momkin dir hadchi kolo ? ou za3ma c vrais ktar man les dur drug
Yeah, it's normal unfortunately. According to brain scans it takes 250 days on average (185-314 days) to redo the brain changes. Even up to 60 weeks (420 days) in some extremely rare cases (outside 6.2 standard deviation). https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.p...eeks-of-abstinence-to-cure-your-brain.233726/ That being said, depression and anxiety can be and very often are preexisting conditions, when it comes to addictions. Think about PMO as "self-medicating" pill for depression/anxiety. In that case, depression/anxiety symptoms will not get better or even worsen, when coping mechanism (PMO) is removed. I'm not saying you've had preexisting condition, but it certainly is a possibility (I know that is true in my case). If that's true, you have to address depression/anxiety in combination with abstention, if you want to experience long term beneficial results. Here is one great depression/anxiety related site to get you started if you recognize yourself as being part of that group: https://headsupguys.org/take-action/
Same here bro I got over 100 days and it is rough, I don't know if what we are experiencing is normal I got all your symptoms myself.
