Please don’t take the title as criticism, I just can’t think of better wording for the question. I’ve been addicted to porn since I was 12 (34 now) but have never seen a progression beyond what I would call relatively normal porn (guy/girl and on the craziest end lesbian porn). This hasn’t changed a bit in 22 years and kind of like clockwork I would normally fap at night right before going to bed (at times it would be 2-3 times a day but typically just once). I’m not being critical but just interested to see if anyone else is coming from a similar experience or am I a total outlier? I see a lot of crazy progressions into some really dark places and I feel somewhat grateful that my addiction never got to those levels. Again, not trying to criticize because at the end of the day we all share a similar problem.
I'm thinkin that a lotta folks on here are here because shit got weird on them... I'm 26 now and I've been hooked on the porns since like 13 or 14ish probs and up til a couple years ago never got off to stuff outside the norm either, but I had a good four to five months a my life where I drifted into some wacky pornhub rabbit holes and it wasn't until I went beyond the normal stuff and like my own morals and ethics that I even considered myself a porn addict and decided to participate on this site so... I think a lot of people on here are here because a years-long subconscious "normal" porn addiction revealed itself through the development of a fetish. Happy to hear things didn't have to get too out of hand for you to make changes to your porn habits though, good thing you're putting in the work now.
Truth is Everyone has their own little fetish... When it comes to pornography just understand it’s designed for you to eventually be aroused to the dark side of it.
I never had any 'crazy' fetishes, just liked seeing curvy girls being penetrated...nothing too crazy, though I did develop a thing for Double Vaginal Penetration towards the end of my PMO phase though.
I think the escalation into darker fetishes is more common with the younger guys since they were exposed to it right from the get go. When I started watching, your options were limited. Mostly just guy on girl sex with the occasional lesbian scene.

I don't think there is a limit of how depraved and how deep addiction can run. It doesn't stop until we stop. I urge you to stop while you still can. Partly because we may never fully heal from our addictions. Stop now and you may struggle with lesbian fantasies for the rest of your life. Go as far as I did, and you may get to struggle with some really gnarly fetishes like me.
Jesus man that’s terrible. Don’t think I’d ever get to that but you may be right about the lesbian thing. Made the mistake of dating a lesbian (was somewhat closeted but I knew for reasons I won’t go in to) about five years ago and tried to convince her into to having a threesome which totally backfired and led to me get slapped and then dumped lol. Yep, that's me...though I've followed a vastly different path. I could never explain it, but since I was a kid I found the concept of vore so interesting. It didn't make any sense to me, so upon another Google search I was made aware of that whole system. That cycle wouldn't begin for another two years, some time after receiving my first smartphone. With that, I was able to hide away...either in my bedroom or the bathroom...in order to commit my sinful acts. Over the past 5 years, I've grown disenchanted with human females, and more attracted to....any humanoid that is not human. It could be due to the vast amount of furry content on the internet, or my fixation upon one particular character (which I will not disclose), or perhaps, that most characters that perform the act of swallowing another in common media are animals. TL;DR I always had it but it wasn't always linked to porn.
From what I've read, porn use makes particular fetishes more likely, but not certain - i.e. if you use it enough, it's just statistically more likely. I think we on these forums are a very unique sample though in terms of porn use/addiction/fetish development.
