"Post Acute Withdrawals Syndrome"(PAWS)

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Freeddom_Taker, Dec 17, 2018.

  1. Guys, things finally start making sense at 16 months mark. I finally start to see the worth of my reboot.

  2. I'm so happy for you! That's a huge achievement in itself. I've been reading through your posts and can relate to many of them. This further proves that long time addicts need a longer time to recover than a few months to completely reboot their brain. I'd say a year or two of struggling with PAWS is not a bad tradeoff for a lifetime of freedom. Some day I'll be there too.

  3. Definitely man!
I'm looking at it to 2 years as well.

Is anyone else worried about falling into a self-improvement hole with these PAWS symptoms? "I should put this and that on hold for now, while I wait for these symptoms to resolve... any day now..."

  5. Any update man?

  6. Same old, same old. I've been feeling a bit better lately and I've taken longer walks in nature. Also on/off constipation seems to ease off a bit, but it's a slow recovery progress overall. I have to take it one day at a time and not worry about the future.
