I looked fairly hard for ANY clinically valid evidence that sexual dysfunction can be reversed by abstinence. Hate to break it to you but posts on reddit do not count as clinically significant. I did find this, which IS clinically significant, which supports what im saying, a use it or lose it approach:
    https://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2008/07/08/2297561.htm
Cases of ED were twice as high in men who had less sex. The more sex the subjects had the fewer cases of ED:
    Stay sexually active
ED occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue.

A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity - such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to ED risk, Koskimaki's team found.

"Regular intercourse has an important role in preserving erectile function among elderly men," says Koskimaki. "Continued sexual activity decreases the incidence of erectile dysfunction in direct proportion to coital frequency."

It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function.

    EXACTLY what i am saying.

I was in what you guys call a flatline, yes. It sucked. I decided this isn't working and started seeing escorts to fire up my sexuality again and I've made huge progress with my 2 issues, ED and major PE, because I'm actually doing something to fix the issues - instead of "ignore it and hope it goes away", which seems to be the strategy nofap promotes.

Bro.. I'm thinking about doing the same my problem is, tiredness, depression, lethargy, anhedonia, I think these are all caused because of the lack of libido in my body

if your problem was just a dead dick but you had energy, emotions, drive, motivation and a little bit of libido this was a walk in the park for you
unfortunately for me what annoys me the most is not even ED, it's low to non-existant libido, fatigue and anhedonia/depression
How can I live with this?
I'll do my sixth ketamine infusion tonigh

Yeah, I also agree with that, to me it's not "cheating" or anything like that, the goal is not to have sex only through escorts everytime, how can you seduce a woman when you're in this state of low libido and ED? you gotta be working 100% before going out to pick up women, this is obvious, if guys are already in a relationship, less bad, but knowing women they like rough sex and if you got a limp noodle they'll seek out a guy to satisfy their desires that's how it works, don't be delusional

    so far not significant
I think it doesn't treat the root cause:lack of libido
what is causing lack of libido remains a mystery

That reference range is for Free Testosterone. The SHBG range from my lab is about the same as your range (57 nmol/l).

I have started to forget how it feels to have a libido. The memories of the physical sensation is starting to fade away! Its been 4-5 years since I had the last real libido. 8 years since I had a consistent and normal libido.

I'm doing TRT at the moment it's been 3 months and trust me bro, no difference at all in libido
currently doing ketamine infusions, twice per week, it's been one month, subtle changes so far though
I'm convinced this is a nervous system problem
TRT haven't brought my libido back but it improved my stamina, resistance and muscle recovery, which is good cause I wasn't working out because I simply couldn't, had no physical energy, now I do
now I'm exercising/doing some form of exercise every day, although anhedonia depression and low libido are symptoms still present
I'll do osho dynamic meditation, bioenergetics and Trauma release exercises over the next few months in addition to low intensity shockwave therapy for my penis to bring back sensitivity
Today's been great, for the first time I had a whole body trembling experience during my TRE session, although I've done those exercises in the past I've never been consistent because I was so tired, my testosterone was in the lower range (250 ng/dl) and I know I don't have any hypogonadism or anything like that, seeing no improvements in depression and libido after starting TRT confirmed that I'm in a frozen state, my nervous system is in a fight-or-flight mode and I need to get out of it, sympathetic over stimulated, parasympathetic shut down, now that I got the stamina to do these exercises consistently I'm confident That I'll see results over the coming months
So yeah, What I'll be doing will be these: Low intensity shockwave therapy for ED, Bioenergetics, TRE and osho dynamic meditation for depression

    This also brings me hope

What's the longest period of sexual abstinence you have had without a single orgasm?

I simply stopped counting cause I didn't care, but I've gone more than 6 months easily and in the instances where I relapsed I did this on purpose in the hopes of restarting libido, but it didn't work cause my nervous system was constantly shut down

    yeah.. same here, it sucks
bro.. do the tre exercises/bioenergetics/osho dynamic meditation, this is probably your nervous system as well that's causing this

Instead you make huge life decision based on an article on a mainstream news site instead? According to doctors watching porn is healthy too! Use it or lose it is complete nonsense. My sexual function didn’t get better or worse after long term abstinence. The rare few who stuck this out between 2-3 year reversed there sexual disfunction.

I too fell into the trap early on of replacing my porn addiction for a visiting escorts addiction and the to a sleeping with as many real life girls as possible addiction. If you must pursue sex, why not try a relationship?
