Now, what you know about a sweet MC from the North Sea None of these skills you’re about to see come free So you wanna be a sweet MC, you gotta become me If you ever wanna be one, see
You say these skills don't come free You're right I saw them on wish for a lil fee I've got bars heavier than fellatious D But cut the grooming that's not for me
I write haiku sometimes. Here are a handful of my personal favourites from the last few months. Ascend the mountain. From the peak descend and then, climb back up again. Snowflakes pirouette. Gone before they touch the earth. Such impermanence. Magpies in the grass, watch out! Hidden in the bush is a sneaky cat. Lonely on the plains. Night falls, I see an evening redness in the west. Lemonade dances on my tongue, tastes like Summer. Longer, warmer days.
Great stuff! Love the one on snowflakes. Basho is one of my favorites, but I’m sure there are other good ones I haven’t read yet.
He's had enough, theres more for another, rest in peace for an additional brother, It does seem like you've opened fire, But come on son, just retire You say I can get it, but to get I must recieve I have yet to find A bullet I can't weave
@Mr Rn @LyarTheTruth NothingMoreNothingLess on the scene You step to me and you're gonna get creamed Corn all up in your teeth, y’all rhymes are weak They’re the opposite of sleek ya freaks Going to rhyme every week like it’s holy week Your rhymes are like antiques, nobody wants them They throw them all away Rhyming from the get go like your brain is on delay
I wrote this not long after starting my nofap journey: Innocence I remember when I was youngSummer evenings seemed to last forever Running through the meadows.. Blades of grass almost as tall as me Picked wild flowers to make a necklace A gift fit for a princess The sky was so tall, so blue My father would swing me around in a circle Round and round until we were dizzy Collapse laughing on the floor in a heap Those laughs came from deep within When I'm dying those are the memories I will recall Not the other stuff, the nasty stuff, the porn.. That doesn't deserve a place in my memories No, I will remember the love, the laughter The kindness, the beauty, the innocence.
Thanks. It's surprisingly difficult to make stuff like that work without it sounding weird. A lot of Japanese poets do have those sorts of "pauses" from what I have noticed.
Thank you! You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it I wrote a few more but this was always my favourite one.
Closer to something like this, found in this haiku by Basho An old silent pond A frog jumps into the pond— Splash! Silence again. There is a specific word for this pause that I cannot remember the name of, but it's generally associated with a traditional haiku structure. To be honest though, what constitutes a haiku is hardly set in stone. A lot of modern poets dont even stick to the 5-7-5 format.
I was trying to remember it too. It is kireji Cutting word apparently! Don’t know Japanese, so can’t be sure.
Just a few more I wrote. Snowfall in the spring! What an unusual thing, flowers dusted white. Fields of lavender sit under a burnt pink sky. Hear the ocean waves. Polychromatic sky flashes to life as the lights of heaven dance.
Here's a pencil Go home, write some stuff, make it suspenseful And don't come back until something cool hits you Screw it, take the mic with you Looking like a cyclone hit you
